The Fineline Story
When I first came to the United States as an immigrant from Argentina, I dreamed of being a successful business owner, creating opportunities for others, and serving businesses in unique ways through print communications.
Today, Fineline is a thriving commercial printing company and a certified Minority Business Enterprise . In 2015, Fineline was proud to support the Indy Welcomes All campaign, and humbled to be named a 2015 Indiana Companies to Watch for our community service and innovation in the marketplace.
Like our organization, the Fineline logo reflects our proud Argentinian heritage. The sun has the most brand heritage as a replica of the Argentinian flag. The light blue of the logo is associated with the sky in homage to our Argentinian roots, and new beginnings in the United States.
I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to work alongside my son, Ric Miller, since 1991. Ric currently serves as the Vice President of Manufacturing, and has supported Fineline in various roles including purchasing, scheduling and production management. Ric and I are focused on building the company through smart investments in technology. As part of this focus, Ric and I often travel to print manufacturing shows like the Drupa Conference – the largest global graphic convention in the world. This Conference announces and educates us on new equipment and technology that can further improve the organizations we serve.
The Fineline Commitment
We’ve seen a lot of changes over the last 35 years. From major technology changes in file prep, digital printing, to regulated industry compliance, sustainability requirements and supporting diversity within our community and State – Fineline has been part of an exciting time not only in the print industry but also in servicing changing client environments.
With the average employment of our staff being 15+ years, we know our stuff and how to make it easy for clients to do business with us. Throughout the 35 years, Fineline has always held true to our commitment that “We won’t ask for your business until we can improve it.” This commitment has empowered our company culture to be innovative and results-driven in an often-changing landscape like print.
This year we are celebrating 35 years in business, not only through the launch of our new print on-demand system, Finelink 2.0, but also with the expansion of our facility and building.
