Fineline Shows Support for Community and Environment
Fineline will take part in 2 events in the coming weeks to support the central Indiana community and our environment.
First, Fineline employees will attend the Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee’s 31st Annual Charles L. Whistler Award Breakfast on Tuesday, November 29 at Banker’s Life Fieldhouse.
The Charles L. Whistler Award is presented to a community volunteer who has brought together the Indianapolis public and private sectors for civic improvement. GIPC says, “Through this recognition, we remember Charles Whistler and his many contributions to our city, and also thank those who, like Whistler, continue to improve Indianapolis for a better today and an even better tomorrow.” More details about Charles Whistler and the award can be found here.
Fineline continues a long tradition of supporting the community through in-kind and financial contributions to local organizations. Supporting the Whistler Award helps foster civic improvement in Indianapolis.
The second event is the Indiana Forest Alliance Wild & Scenic Film Festival premiering Friday, December 9 at the historic Athenaeum in downtown Indianapolis. Fineline has generously provided an in-kind donation of printed postcards for this event, and we encourage everyone to attend.
IFA says the Wild & Scenic Film Festival is “a great night of short films about our natural resources and the brave people striving to protect them. It’s also a night of prizes, food & drink, and networking with all who care about Indiana’s wild places.“ More details about the festival can be found here.
Support of the IFA’s Wild and Scenic Film Festival aligns with our environmental initiatives, and as a certified EPA Green Power Partner with an FSC Responsible Forestry Certification, Fineline is committed to aiding and sustaining the environment.
